tibetan snowfinch
Montifringilla adamsi
Adam's snowfinch is a small bird of the sparrow family. It lives at very high altitudes in the mountains of Tibet and the Himalayas, where it is cold and there is little oxygen.
Adam's snowfinch differs from other finches with its completely black wings and by living in the highest parts of the mountains. It helps spread plant seeds and serves as food for predatory birds of the highlands.
