Narcondam hornbill is a small hornbill bird that lives only on Narcondam Island in the Bay of Bengal. It has a large beak with a small casque on top, black plumage, and a white tail.
The Narcondam hornbill differs from other hornbills by its small body size and the special structure of the small casque on the beak. It is very important for the island's nature because it disperses seeds of many trees and helps the forest regenerate.
Legendary longevity: over 100 years. Galapagos tortoises, Greenland sharks, ocean quahogs celebrate with family once every 4 years
