Babyrousa babyrussa
The hairy babirusa is a rare wild pig that lives only on Buru Island in Indonesia. In males, the upper tusks are long, curved, and grow through the skin of the snout.
The babirusa differs from other pigs with its unusual tusks and thick fur. It helps the forest by dispersing plant seeds. The species is very rare and needs protection.
