Agapornis roseicollis
2270
The rosy-cheeked lovebird is a small parrot 15–18 cm long. It has a green body, pink cheeks, blue lower back, and a strong beak. These birds live in southern Africa and stay in pairs.
The rosy-cheeked lovebird differs from other parrots by its bright pink cheek coloring and blue lower back. It disperses plant seeds and serves as food for predators in dry areas of Africa.
