The Aleutian auklet is a small seabird from the Alcidae family. It lives in the northern part of the Pacific Ocean, swims and dives excellently for food, and nests in burrows on coastal islands.
The Aleutian auklet differs from other alcids by its nocturnal activity at colonies and nesting in deep burrows. It is important for nature as a plankton consumer and part of the food chain of marine animals.
