The two-band anemonefish, or Red Sea clownfish, is a small brightly colored marine fish. It lives in symbiosis with sea anemones, receiving protection from them, and helps clean them from debris.
The two-striped anemonefish differs from other clownfish by exactly two white stripes on the body. It is important for the reef because it protects the anemone from being eaten and receives reliable protection from predators in return.
Immature form that undergoes metamorphosis before adulthood.
