glaucous-winged gull
Larus glaucescens
The grey-winged gull is a large seabird with light grey wings. It lives on the coasts of the northern part of the Pacific Ocean and is often found near water.
The gray-winged gull differs from related species by the very light gray color of the wings without dark tips. It is important for nature because it cleans coastlines of dead fish and waste and serves as food for predators.
