Sciaenochromis fryeri
Haplochromis cornflower is a cichlid fish that lives in Lake Malawi in Africa. Males have a bright cornflower blue body color, while females are much paler.
Cornflower haplochromis differs from related cichlids by the very bright blue coloration of males and by feeding on other fish. It helps maintain balance in the lake by controlling the population of small species.
