Саксонский белохвост (Sächsischer Weißschwanz)
Calm, balanced, moderately active. Gets along well with other pigeons. Strong homing instinct, flight-oriented. Non-aggressive, suitable for keeping in mixed pigeon lofts.
Saxon White Tail — a medium-sized ornamental breed of domestic pigeons with a strong, compact, harmonious body structure. Weight 380–520 g (ideal 420–480 g), body length 280–340 mm, wingspan 580–660 mm. Head small, rounded, dry. Eyes large, dark brown or almost black. Beak 18–22 mm, straight. Neck 65–80 mm, slightly curved. Body broad, deep. Wings held close, wing length 190–215 mm. Tail — the main distinguishing feature: broad (80–95 mm), strongly rounded, length 90–110 mm, consisting of 12–14 rectrices, always pure white (including coverts). Legs short, unfeathered, tarsus 28–34 mm, red or reddish-pink. Plumage dense, smooth, glossy. Bred in black, red, yellow, silver, blue (with bars), brown body colors with obligatory white tail.
