The Pacific auklet is a seabird with a bright beak and white horns above its eyes. It lives on the coasts of the northern Pacific Ocean, swims excellently underwater, and catches fish.
The Pacific capelin differs from the Atlantic one by having light leathery horns above the eyes during the breeding season. It is important for nature because it transfers nutrients from the sea to land and serves as food for predators.
