spectral tarsier
Tarsius tarsier
Eastern tarsier, or spectral tarsier, is a small nocturnal primate with huge eyes. It lives in the tropical forests of Sulawesi, jumps well between trees, and feeds on insects.
The long-fingered bat differs from other primates with its huge eyes, ability to turn its head far to the sides, and jumping long distances. It helps maintain balance in the forest by eating insects.
