rufous flycatcher
Myiarchus semirufus
The coastal yellow-bellied tyrant is a small bird from the tyrant flycatcher family. It lives on the dry coast of Peru, has reddish plumage on the lower part of the body and skillfully catches insects in the air.
The coastal yellow-bellied tyrant differs from related tyrants by a more reddish color on the chest and belly. It is useful for nature because it destroys a large number of insects and serves as food for predatory birds.
