Dunn's Salamander is a small lungless amphibian from the plethodontid family. It lives in humid forests of the northwest of North America and breathes through its skin.
Dunn's Salamander differs from close species by its bright dorsal stripe and choice of very humid forest areas. It is important for nature as a hunter of invertebrates and as an indicator of the purity and humidity of the forest environment.
