Bufo nebulifer
Incilius nebulifer
Bufo nebulifer is a medium-sized toad with bumpy skin and large glands behind the eyes. It lives in coastal areas from the south of the USA to Central America and is active during the warm season.
Bufo nebulifer differs from related toads by a special dark pattern on the back and large parotid glands. It is useful for nature because it destroys many harmful insects and serves as food for snakes, birds and other animals.
