The streaked lory is a small, brightly colored bird from the parrot family. It lives in the forests and woodlands of northern Australia and mainly feeds on nectar and pollen.
The streaked loryket differs from other lories with characteristic yellow stripes on the head and red spots on the chest. It plays an important role in nature, transferring pollen between trees and helping plants reproduce.
