The Caucasian sable is a species possessing dense fur of a brown color, which protects from the cold, and a white spot is always present on the chest and throat. Sharp claws help adult individuals climb trees and cliffs and catch prey, while sharp teeth allow biting and tearing food. A long and fluffy tail helps maintain balance during jumps and climbing.
