Independent, cautious, very hardy, strong herding instinct, moderately friendly toward familiar people, may show stubbornness if handled incorrectly. Well adapted to the harsh mountain conditions of North Wales.
Carneddau pony — one of the smallest and most primitive forms of semi-wild mountain ponies of Great Britain. Compact, extremely hardy mountain pony of the northern type. Height at withers 110–130 cm (ideal 115–125 cm). Weight of adults 180–280 kg. Build strong, square, with short back and powerful croup. Differs from Welsh Pony, Dartmoor and Exmoor by significantly smaller size, more primitive “wild” conformation (large head, short neck, barrel-shaped body), exceptional density of winter coat and shorter limbs with strong bone structure. Acceptable colors: bay (brown), dark bay/almost black, bay (bay), gray (grey), black (black). Not allowed: piebald, roan, bright red colors and large white markings.
Legendary longevity: over 100 years. Galapagos tortoises, Greenland sharks, ocean quahogs celebrate with family once every 4 years
Immature form that undergoes metamorphosis before adulthood.

How old you would be if you lived as {name}
Theoretical maximum lifespan estimated from the Dynamic Energy Budget (DEB) mathematical model. This value reflects a biological potential derived from metabolic parameters, not from direct observation — real recorded lifespans are often significantly shorter.
